Health Canada has issued a consumer product advisory warning that the BABESIDE Doll and Stroller Set, previously sold on Amazon.ca, may pose a choking hazard to young children. The alert affects Model HYBKSPJ633-CP1, with the eyes on an included plush bear at risk of detaching and a magnetic pacifier accessory identified as a small part, both of which can present serious choking dangers to children.

What Products Are Being Recalled?

The affected item is the ‘BABESIDE Doll and Stroller Set’, Model HYBKSPJ633-CP1, sold online through Amazon.ca. The play set includes a pink and red stroller, a baby doll dressed in pink, and 23 accessories. These accessories include a pink and white plate with a fork and spoon, orange juice and milk feeding bottles, a toy pacifier with a clip, a milk carton, a bib, a diaper bag, a diaper, a tissue bag with tissues, lotion and baby powder bottles, a small plush bear, a pair of shoes, two sets of clothes, and a soft carrier. The product was manufactured in China and distributed by HYBDOLLS.

Why Was This Recall Issued?

Health Canada identified that the eyes on the plush bear included in the set may detach from the toy, creating a choking hazard for young children who may put the small pieces in their mouths. Additionally, the magnetic pacifier accessory included in the set is considered a small part that could also present a choking risk if separated from the toy and swallowed by a child.

Who Is Affected?

According to Amazon.ca, only 24 units of the affected product were sold between July 2025 and January 2026. As of the advisory date, no incidents or injuries related to this product have been reported to Health Canada. The advisory is directed at parents and caregivers in Canada who purchased the BABESIDE Doll and Stroller Set through Amazon.ca during this period.

Official Statement

Health Canada noted that the product has been removed from sale on the Amazon.ca website.
