Who We Are
Recall Times is a dedicated product recall news platform built with one purpose: to make official government recall information accessible to every consumer, in every country we cover, without friction or delay.
We are not affiliated with any government agency, manufacturer, retailer, or industry body. Our editorial team independently monitors official recall authorities and publishes structured, easy-to-understand recall notices — so you can quickly determine whether a product in your home poses a risk to your family.
From food and drugs to vehicles, toys, electronics, and medical devices — if an official authority has issued a recall, Recall Times reports it.
Why We Exist
Government recall databases are accurate — but they are not designed for consumers. They are fragmented across dozens of websites, written in regulatory language, and rarely notified proactively to the people they affect.
A parent buying food at a grocery store should not need to check five different government websites to know if that product was recalled last week. A car owner should not find out about a brake defect from a news headline months after the recall was issued.
Recall Times bridges that gap. We pull data directly from official sources, translate it into clear consumer language, and make it searchable, filterable, and subscribable — all in one place.

🇬🇧 United Kingdom Authorities: MHRA · OPSS · DVSA Medicines, medical devices, consumer product safety alerts, and vehicle recalls from UK government authorities.
🇦🇺 Australia Authorities: TGA · ACCC · FSANZ Therapeutic goods, consumer products, and food recalls from Australia’s TGA, ACCC Product Safety, and FSANZ.
🇿🇦 South Africa Authorities: SAHPRA · NRCS · DAFF Medicines, regulated products, and food safety alerts issued by South African regulatory authorities.

2. Data Verification Each detected recall is cross-referenced with the original government source to confirm accuracy. We only publish recalls that have been officially issued — never unverified tips or social media claims.
3. Structured & Standardised Raw regulatory data is structured into a consistent format: product name, issuing authority, hazard description, affected lot numbers, and the required consumer action — so you know exactly what to do.
4. Published & Searchable Every recall is published on Recall Times with a severity level, country tag, category, and authority label — fully searchable and filterable so you can find exactly what is relevant to you.

🔍 Official Sources Only We publish recall information sourced exclusively from official government authorities. We never rely on manufacturer press releases, retailer announcements, or unverified third-party reports as primary sources.
⚡ Speed Without Sacrifice We publish recalls as quickly as possible after they are officially issued. Speed matters in consumer safety — but never at the cost of accuracy or verification.
🔓 Free, Always Access to recall information is a public safety matter. Recall Times is free to use and always will be. We do not put recall alerts behind paywalls, login walls, or subscription requirements.
🚫 No Industry Influence Recall Times accepts no payment from manufacturers, retailers, or industry bodies to suppress, delay, or modify how we report a recall. Our only obligation is to the consumer.
✏️ Corrections Policy If we make an error, we correct it promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted on the affected article with the date and nature of the change. We do not silently delete or amend published recalls.
Transparency: What Recall Times Is Not
We are not a government agency and we have no authority to issue, modify, or cancel recalls. The information we publish is sourced from official government bodies — for any official recall action, always refer directly to the issuing authority.
We are not a legal or medical advisory service. If you believe you have been harmed by a recalled product, please contact the issuing authority directly and seek appropriate professional advice.
We are not a complaints platform. We do not investigate individual consumer product complaints or initiate recalls. If you believe a product poses a safety risk and no recall has been issued, contact the relevant government authority in your country directly.
