The alert covers 3-lb 2-oz. cartons containing 10 individually wrapped ‘RED’S STEAK CILANTRO AND LIME BURRITO’ items. The product was produced on Jun 19, 2026 and bears the establishment number ‘EST. 46069’ inside the USDA mark of inspection. The affected production lots printed on the side of the package label are: L1 SD6170 1503, L1 SD6170 1535, L1 SD6170 1606, L1 SD6170 1639, L1 SD6170 1717, L1 SD6170 1750, L1 SD6170 1831, L1 SD6170 1908, L1 SD6170 1954, L1 SD6170 2031, L1 SD6170 2108, and L1 SD6170 2130.
Why Was This Recall Issued?
A consumer discovered that the contents of a carton labeled as ‘RED’S STEAK CILANTRO AND LIME BURRITO’ were actually a different product containing egg, which had been incorrectly labeled. Since egg is not declared on the burrito’s label, consumers with egg allergies face a risk of allergic reaction if they consume the mislabeled product. The consumer reported the issue to Red’s All Natural, which then notified FSIS. A formal recall was not requested because the affected product is no longer available for purchase.
Who Is Affected?
Consumers in Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota who purchased this item through Costco distribution locations may be affected. FSIS is particularly concerned that some of the mislabeled product may still be sitting in consumers’ freezers. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products as of the alert date.
