Star Meat Delivery Recalls 167,639 Lbs Raw Pork, Beef, Goat Products 2026

Star Meat Delivery Inc., based in Lucama, N.C., is recalling approximately 167,639 pounds of raw pork, beef, and goat products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. The products carry labels with a false USDA mark of inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Sept. 22, 2026. The recall is Class I with a High health risk classification, and it is listed under FSIS recall number 022-2026. FSIS says the list of products and labels may be updated as more information becomes available.

What Products Are Being Recalled?

The recalled raw pork, beef, and goat items were produced on various dates before September 22, 2026. They were vacuum-sealed and packed into cardboard boxes for shipment. They were distributed in bulk under the A&D Foods label. Individual consumer packages may not show this labeling, because retail stores may have applied their own stickers with pricing and safe handling instructions. Any product bearing the false establishment number ‘EST. 1363’ should be considered misbranded and unsafe to eat.

Why Was This Recall Issued?

The products bear false marks of inspection with establishment number ‘EST. 1363,’ which does not have a federal grant of inspection. That means the meat was produced without the benefit of federal inspection. FSIS discovered the problem during its surveillance activities.

Food produced without inspection may contain undeclared allergens, harmful bacteria, or other contaminants that put consumer health and safety at risk. There have been no confirmed reports of illness or injury linked to these products so far.

Who Is Affected?

The recalled products were shipped to A&D Foods, a distributor in Georgia, for further distribution to retail and restaurant locations nationwide. Shoppers, restaurants, and retailers across the United States could therefore have the affected meat.

FSIS is concerned that some product may still be in the refrigerators or freezers of consumers, restaurants, or retailers. Because retail stores may have applied their own stickers, shoppers may not see the false USDA mark or the A&D Foods label on the package they bought. Anyone who bought raw pork, beef, or goat that could match the products listed above should check with the store where they bought it.
