What Products Are Being Recalled?
This recall covers HomeProGym-branded latex stackable resistance bands. The affected bands are the purple 60-pound and the gray 70-pound resistance bands only. These bands feature a silver metal D-ring at each end attached to a black strap, and were sold as part of several sets and bundles including:
- Add-on Stackable Resistance Bands – 130lbs (60kg)
- Stackable Resistance Bands Set Ultra 7 Bands
- Stackable Resistance Bands Set Mega 9 Bands
- PowerTube Stackable 450lbs Band Set + Bar & Ultra Door Anchor
- Ultimate Bundle and Mega Bundle
The words ‘HOME PRO GYM’ and ‘ULTRA 60 LBS’ or ‘ULTRA PLUS 70 LBS’ are printed on the recalled bands’ straps. The products were manufactured in China and sold on Homeprogym.com and Amazon.com for prices ranging from $40 to $296.
Why Was This Recall Issued?
The CPSC issued this recall because the resistance bands can forcefully separate from their handle during use, posing a serious risk of injury from impact. HomeProGym has received five reports of resistance bands forcefully separating from the handle. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported to date, but the potential for serious harm prompted the immediate recall action.

Consumers who own other bands from the same sets that are not the purple 60-pound or gray 70-pound variants are not affected and may continue to use those bands safely.
