Why Was This Recall Issued?
The company says the bar’s makeup can rapidly absorb saliva and become dense, dry and sticky while a child chews. That texture can create a choking hazard for toddlers aged 1.5 to 2.5 years.
Three consumer complaints about choking were reported to the FDA and prompted the decision. No injuries have been reported so far, the company says.
Who Is Affected?
Anyone who bought Tractor Wheels, particularly parents and caregivers of toddlers in the age range above. The bars went out nationwide, including Puerto Rico, through online sales and retail stores.
