Sweet Vengeance Recalls Social Sessions Cannabis Edibles Over Allergens

10392804 Canada Inc., operating as Sweet Vengeance, has recalled several Social Sessions branded edible cannabis products after Health Canada testing found undeclared milk and hazelnut allergens along with inaccurate THC and CBD labelling. Approximately 6,770 units were sold through authorized retailers in Ontario and Saskatchewan between March 2025 and May 2026.

What Products Are Being Recalled?

• 1212 THC:CBD 1:25 Micro-Dosed Vegan Chocolate Reishi (Lot P0041DISRHM, 65 g)
• Macro 10 – Vegan ‘Mylk’ Chocolate Single 10 (Lot P0041DISMYK, 6.5 g)
• THC Micro-Dosed Vegan Chili Chocolate (Lot P0041DISCHI, 65 g)
• Yum Yum Factor THC:CBD 1:25 Micro-Dosed Vegan Chili Crisp (Lot P0041DISCSP, 40 g)

All packaging dates for these lots are affected. The products were distributed under the ‘Social Sessions’ brand.

Why Was This Recall Issued?

Health Canada inspected the facility and conducted sampling and testing that revealed the chocolate products contain milk, and in some cases hazelnut, that are not declared on the label. For people allergic or sensitive to these allergens, consuming the affected products could trigger a serious or life-threatening reaction.

Testing also found that cannabinoid levels did not match what was printed on the labels. The chocolate products showed THC levels lower than stated, while tested CBD levels were often higher than printed. Meanwhile, the label for the ‘Yum Yum Factor THC:CBD 1:25 Micro-Dosed Vegan Chili Crisp’ showed THC lower than the actual tested value. Without accurate THC information, consumers may struggle to make informed decisions about cannabis use, which could lead to over-intoxication. Possible effects of THC overdose include confusion, disorganized thinking, physical and mental impairment, anxiety, fear or panic, decreased blood pressure, and elevated heart rate.

Who Is Affected?

The recall affects consumers in Ontario and Saskatchewan who purchased the listed products through authorized retailers, including the Ontario Cannabis Store and Legacy Supply and Distribution. Anyone with a milk or hazelnut allergy or sensitivity who has purchased these products faces the greatest risk. As of the recall notice, neither the company nor Health Canada had received any complaints or adverse reaction reports linked to the affected lots.

What Should You Do?

Consumers who have purchased any of the affected products should immediately stop using them. Products should be returned to the store of purchase, or disposed of safely and out of the reach of children and youth if already opened.
