The projector is white and circular in shape, featuring built-in surround sound speakers with the words ‘superior sound by treVolo’ printed on it in gray text. It includes a permanent yellow tag and sits on a black projector stand. The unit measures approximately 13.2 cm (5.2 inches) wide, 20.3 cm (8 inches) across, and 19 cm (7.5 inches) in height, weighing about 1.7 kg (3.7 pounds).

Why Was This Recall Issued?

The recalled projector may overheat, creating a risk of burn and fire hazards to consumers. As of June 23, 2026, the company had received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada, but one report of an overheating incident had been recorded in the United States. The product was manufactured in China and distributed by BenQ America Corp, based in Costa Mesa, California.
